What This Calculator Does
The Paver Calculator computes the number of pavers needed for a patio, walkway, or driveway based on area and paver size, including a 10% waste factor for cutting and pattern fitting. Enter the project area and paver size to get the total number of pavers required.
Concrete pavers are a popular hardscaping choice for patios, walkways, and driveways - they are durable, easy to repair, and available in numerous shapes and colors. Standard paver sizes include 4x8 inch (brick-style), 6x6 inch (square), 6x9 inch (rectangular), and 12x12 inch (large format).
Paver quantities are always quoted with a waste factor - 10% for straight patterns (running bond, stack bond) and 15% for diagonal or circular patterns. Our calculator uses 10% waste as a default.

- Order pavers from a hardscape supplier - they are sold per pallet (typically 100-500 pavers depending on size).
